 Job Duties and Tasks

Functions:

-Management of archaeological documentation

Tasks of the post:

- Processing of archaeological materials.

- Database management.

- Elaboration of photogrammetries.

 Dedication regime and duration of the contract

In order to proceed with the formalisation of the contract once the selection process has been passed, the selected person must meet the requirements established in Article 15.5 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, approving the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law (amended by Royal Decree-Law 32/2021, of 28 December).

This contract for circumstances of production will have a duration of 6 months months (maximum of 6 months) and is signed in accordance with the provisions of section 1 and 2 of article 15 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, which approves the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law.

On schedule: 8 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Monday to Friday

 Retribution

9.933 (gross salary including the proportional part of the extra payments during the contract.).

 Requirements

Academic requirements

  • Researcher Type 4 - Non-doctoral University Graduate (with at least four years from the date of degree completion)
  • University studies (History (undergraduate, master's and bachelor's degrees))

Requirements

  • Have Spanish nationality or have the nationality of a member state of the European Union or be from any of the states in which, by virtue of international treaties established by the E.U. and ratified by Spain, the free movement of workers is applicable. Likewise, applicants with a nationality other than that mentioned above may submit their application, provided they can prove that they are in possession of a work and residence permit at the time the contract is formalized.
  • To be in possession of the qualification required in this call. Documents issued abroad that are to be used in this procedure must be legalized in accordance with the current regulations (Management circular number 134).
  • Persons who have had an employment contract for access to the Spanish science, technology and innovation system, governed by article 22 of Law 14/2011 of 1 June on Science, Technology and Innovation of a duration equal to or greater than 5 years, taking into account the duration of this job offer, may not participate in the selection process.

A university master's degree (master's degree in Quaternary, master's degree in Prehistory and Archaeology or similar) would be an asset.  10 Points

Experience

Experience will be assessed on the basis of participation in previous research projects related to the study of caves with Palaeolithic parietal art.  40 Points

Complementary Training

Specialisation courses in new technologies applied to the study of rock art will be an asset. 10 Points
