 Job Duties and Tasks

FUNCTIONS:

Treatment of the photogrammetric information of habitation floors of the campaigns of excavation in Cueva del Mirón for recovery of spatial data, data processing of environmental conditions of the site through GIS and preparation of informative contents.

TASKS:

  • Management of total station in archaeological excavations 2023 and treatment of recovered data.
  • Photogrammetric reconstitution, generation of orthoimages and digital models and coordinates recovery of excavated materials in the cave for inclusion in the inventory deposit overview.
  • Integration of the data in the general topography of the cave.
  • Treatment of information on environmental data of the territory of the site and creation of cartography using GIS.
  • Update of databases for integration of the previous information.
  • Preparation of reports and content for complementary teaching and informative material.

Only candidates who have exceeded 50 points during the evaluation process may be proposed for the position.

 Dedication regime and duration of the contract

In order to proceed with the formalisation of the contract once the selection process has been passed, the selected person must meet the requirements established in Article 15.5 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, approving the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law (amended by Royal Decree-Law 32/2021, of 28 December).

This contract for circumstances of production will have a duration of 6 months months (maximum of 6 months) and is signed in accordance with the provisions of section 1 and 2 of article 15 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, which approves the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law.

On schedule: 09:00h to 16:30h

 Retribution

9.254,52 (6 months) (gross salary including the proportional part of the extra payments during the contract.).

Academic requirements

  • RESEARCHER - UNIVERSITY DEGREE responsibility II
  • University studies (Geography (undergraduate, master's and bachelor's degrees))

Requirements

  • Have Spanish nationality or have the nationality of a member state of the European Union or be from any of the states in which, by virtue of international treaties established by the E.U. and ratified by Spain, the free movement of workers is applicable. Likewise, applicants with a nationality other than that mentioned above may submit their application, provided they can prove that they are in possession of a work and residence permit at the time the contract is formalized.
  • To be in possession of the qualification required in this call. Documents issued abroad that are to be used in this procedure must be legalized in accordance with the current regulations (Management circular number 134).
  • Persons who have had an employment contract for access to the Spanish science, technology and innovation system, governed by article 22 of Law 14/2011 of 1 June on Science, Technology and Innovation of a duration equal to or greater than 5 years, taking into account the duration of this job offer, may not participate in the selection process.
